I make wallets to match your purses!

I was asked today if I made wallets, and the answer is YES!  Of course, I mean, how could I make a purse and not have the matching wallet to go along?!  Sinful, I tell you.  So, here are some pictures of the one I just finished for a customer...she has a matching purse, of course:)
It's a basic 3-fold wallet ( I can do the 1/2 fold also, but most people, including myself, tend to prefer this one).
The back zippered pocket is optional.
Here it is unfolded.  The top section include 2 credit card holders and a long money pocket.  The bottom section has either 6 credit card pockets and one long pocket, or 8 credit card pockets.  This one has the 8 credit card pockets.
The top section...
The bottom...
And here is the back zippered coin pocket.  All in all, a cute wallet.  I love it because I can lay my money out straight and not have to wad/fold it up (it usually was more along the lines of wad vs folded)!.  Plus, sometimes when I am just running into the store, I can just grab the wallet and go.
So, there you have it...wallets to match the purses!  Love it!

A purse to call my very own!

Today I completed a really cute purse of my very own!  I know it sounds strange that a girl who makes purses for a living doesn't carry a cute one of her own, but when you own a business you tend to take care of your customers before yourself.  It just happens...

So, last night, I decided I was going to make a purse for myself.  My next orders aren't due until Friday, although they will be done sooner, so I have a moment to spare!  Here's my newest creation:
Isn't this CUTE?!  I tend to prefer smaller purses that really do hold a lot...this one has 2 pockets on the outside (one on each end) and 4 on the inside...

I also quilted the fabric myself and really love the "SS" which according to me, stands for "Simply Sandra".  !
I decided to put a zipper on the top instead of just a snap.  You can't see them well, but there are two zipper charms...one says "princess" (an ongoing joke between my husband and I...he thinks I'm spoiled...I think it's his fault!) and the other is just a pink gem.
Here you can see the end pockets are big enough for my gigantic Voyager cell phone, or car keys, chapstick, etc.  I like having the essentials handy.
And this is my favorite part...it's pink/white polka dots and has 4 pockets, each lined with the exterior fabric.   I think it's really sexy...weird, I know, but yep, that's what I think!
So, there you have it...finally, a purse of my very own!!!

Newest Purse!

Here's my newest purse!  I just finished it yesterday!  I LOVE it!  Way too cute!  The hot pink lettering says "LOVE"!  It's a simple tote with 3 pockets on the inside.  On sale for $30!

Purses, Purses, Purses

Finally, the moment for which some of you have been asking, others dreading (mostly because you know that once you see my work, you WILL want to buy! hee hee)!  Pictures of some of my purses!!!

These are some that I have made for customers and some that are for sell.  I can make anything you like, even patterns you may not see here.  Just ask.  I want your purse to be very customized to what you like and who you are...remember...you are making a statement to the world!

Enjoy!

Welcome!

Welcome to my new website/blogsite!...

ok, you got me...I have no idea what this is really called.  I am pretty much blogger illiterate!  I do plan on learning though and if you bear with me, you will soon see the most amazing site ever!  Ok, maybe not THAT amazing, but you will definately see more than just green polka-dots!  Promise.

Eventually you will be able to follow me as I search for the simple life!  You will see pictures of everything from family to dogs to the Hillbilly countryside in which I am currently residing to the new line of purses I am creating called Simply Sandra.  You will read about my daily adventures in homeschooling my 5 year old son, keeping the house cleaned (not my strength), and building my business (yep, you'll also be able to view and purchase/order from this site!).

So, please, bear with me as I figure everything out and attempt to get updated in this crazy techie world!

with love,
Simply Sandra
